Tracy House
The house was built in 1854 by Robert Barbour for George Tracy. When his farm was broken into city lots Tracy built the house from the proceeds. Tracy only lived in the house for 4 years then he moved to Wisconsin. The next owner Daniel McDougall, millowner and farmer, lived there until 1876; his daughter married lawyer C.S. Jones and lived at 89 Ontario St South. It has been the St Marys District Museum since 1959. |
