The building of the left was built in 1921 of pressed concrete as a warehouse for fruit.   The center building was built in 1857 as a cobbler's shop and the wooden building on the right was built in 1869 as a house. The Journal Argus newspaper, published by the Eedy family, moved there in 1992 from the Guest block.   The newspaper moved to the McDonald block.

When photographed the buildings were occupied by (from left to right) Curves for Women Fitness;   the law office of R.J. White;   Olivia's Hair and Skin Care.

Designated a heritage property Apr 25, 1989.
