The Richard Box house is on the left of the photo and the
W.V. Hutton Block is on the right.
Richard Box of Box and Somerville who bought the mill in 1869.
In 1884 the mill was sold to George Carter.
Richard Box's daughter Mary married George Carter's son James and lived at
67 Peel Street South.
His son Richard Sanborn Box had the house at 163 Church Street South
(a photo of which can be seen at the St Marys Century Houses web site).
