Trout Creek Viaduct
The construction of the Grand Trunk Railway viaduct over Trout Creek was begun in July 1857.   It has 11 stone piers 66-feet apart and 70-feet high.   A similar viaduct over the Thames River was constructed at the same time and is now part of a walking trail.

At the south end of the viaduct (to the left of the photo) is the CN/VIA railway station
  Trout Creek Flooding
Junction Station is north of here and the Water Street Steel Bridge just to the west. This July 2000 photo is looking north-west from the pumping station.
The Wildwood Dam west of the town usually stops the flooding shown.
