This cottage is one of four houses built in 1870 on adjoining lots by Robert Barbour for local businesswoman Fanny Moore Adam. It was occupied by Fanny Adam's sister Jane Stafford and her family.
Shown right is a second house built for Fanny Moore Adam next door. The other 2 houses are on Wellington Street.
107 Water St N was designated a heritage property January 26, 1993.
